Beatrice Desiree Simo-Kengne is professor in the School of Economics at the University of Johannesburg, South Africa. She holds a PhD in economics from the University of Pretoria, masters in monetary and banking economics, economics and financial economics respectively from the University of Douala, Cameroon, University of Pretoria and University of Johannesburg, South Africa. Her research interests lie in the fields of sustainable development- including but not limited to- housing, asset prices, agriculture, environment, performance evaluation, risk management, gender, health and trade.
